Configuration Guide

All settings are located in your ACP under: ConfigurationOptionsUsersRegistration


1. General Settings

🔌 Master Switch (Click to expand)

Enable automatic deletion

  • Option: enable_auto_delete_unconfirmed_users
  • Description: The main switch for the plugin.
    • Enabled: The cronjob runs daily and processes users according to your rules.
    • Disabled: The plugin is completely inactive. No reminders are sent, no users are deleted.

2. Timing & Workflow

Days until resending activation email

  • Option: auto_delete_unconfirmed_users_resend_email_days
  • Default: 7 days
  • Description: Determines when the reminder email is sent.
    • Value > 0: Enables the Two-Stage Workflow. The user gets a reminder first.
    • Value = 0: Disables reminders. The user is deleted directly after the deletion period (Legacy Mode).

Days until unconfirmed users are deleted

  • Option: auto_delete_unconfirmed_users_days
  • Default: 7 days
  • Description: Defines the final deadline.
    • If Reminder is enabled: Days after the reminder email until deletion.
    • If Reminder is disabled: Days after registration until deletion.

Users per cron job execution

  • Option: auto_delete_unconfirmed_users_limit
  • Default: 10
  • Description: A safety limit to prevent server timeouts. It processes a maximum of X users per run.
  • Recommendation: Keep between 10 and 50 for optimal performance.

3. Notifications

🔔 Email Alerts for Admins (Click to expand)

Notification for Resent Emails

  • Option: auto_delete_unconfirmed_users_send_email_resent
  • Default: Yes
  • Action: Sends an email summary to all administrators whenever the system sends reminder emails to users.

Notification for Deletions

  • Option: auto_delete_unconfirmed_users_send_email_deleted
  • Default: Yes
  • Action: Sends an email summary to all administrators whenever users are permanently deleted.
